The Kootenay Columbia Seniors Housing Cooperative (KCSHC) is a cooperative group in Castlegar, BC, Canada. KCSHC is spearheading the Grandview Housing project to create affordable housing for themselves and other seniors on a recently purchased land parcel at the south end of Castlegar.
This exciting development will be a housing solution for a number of seniors in the West Kootenay region and will offer a homegrown alternative to the increasing costs of other care facilities, which are often located far away from friends and family.
