After some beaucratic delays, Alto Construction Ltd, will start interviews with the 34 Ground Floor Life Leases on Monday, April 14, 2008. Mobilization is underway. Building Permits are being issued by the City of Castlegar, on April 11, 2008
The Building Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Cyril Sookachoff as Clerk of Works starting immediately. His function is to coordinate the construction of the Ground Floor Life Leases and ensure that the work by Alto Construction Ltd meets the expectations of the members.

Sequencing of Construction of Ground Floor Units
With a construction start on the first 34 units, the construction scheduling will be such that all new commitments will follow the first 34 committed members.
Future sequencing will start at D30 and flow to the South West to the end at D17 along Grandview Drive to 14th Avenue. It is anticipated that the Triplexes will be the last to be constructed.
The Bungalows will flow from B19, West along Calemeda to 14th Avenue
Other locations for selections are possible; however, construction will not take place until the sequence is complete prior to the selected unit.
Note that contractor's pricing may be affected to future selections so the sooner selections are made the less impact on prices will take place.
