1. Selkirk Paving Ltd
  • Price for all infrastructure is $255,469.92 GSTE
  • Checking specifications with WSAE
  • Checking on primer need with WSAE
  • Price for all 34 GFLL driveways is $163,997.32 or $4,823.47 per driveway
  • Letter of intent to be issued May 02, 2008.

 

2. Alto Construction Ltd
  • Letter of Intent issued
  • Balance of Interviews next week
  • After costs are established with 2nd Interview then total contract amount will be established
  • Contract documents all printed an ready
  • CCDC document 14 needs to be completed with costs

 

3. Temporary Overhead Power
  • A Letter of Intent has been issued to Martech Electrical Systems Ltd
  • Work is to begin May 02, 2008 and completed in 1 week

 

4. Clerk of Works
  • Contract signed April 30, 2008 with Cyril Sookachoff

 

5. U/G Electrical. Telus, Shaw
  • Letter of Intent issued to Maretech Electrical Systems Ltd
  • Installation to start May 05, 2008 and completed June 30, 2008

 

Ground Floor Housing

1. Building Permit
  • ACL has Building Permits

 

2. Status of Financial Commitment Letters
  • GFLLs agreed unanimously to terms and conditions presented by Directors at their meeting April 29, 2008.
  • 1st deposit of $30,000 made at meeting
  • 2nd contractual deposit May 25, 2008.

 

3. ACL Construction Status
  • Eight foundations are excavated
  • Three have footings constructed
  • Six have plumbing drains in and water connected
  • 1st Concrete pour Monday May 05, 2008
  • Major farming crew coming on site May 05, 2008.

 

4. Some Issues that have been resolved
  • Prime Contractor is Alto and Safety Officer is on site
  • Driveways
  • Excavation and Backfill
  • Temporary power

Promotion Day April 19, 2008

  1. Was a success with over 200 people in attendance despite the inclement weather

Appraisal with Strand Godfrey

  1. Completed May 02, 2008.
  2. 100 page document
  3. Results very exciting
  4. Copies provided to HCU and NCU
  5. Disks made and will be issued to Directors
  6. Those members who desire to see appraisal, please contact a Director as the document is confidential

 

Infrastructure Construction

  1. MiL is complete on Plateau
  2. Removed flagged trees along bank
  3. Is adding fill behind duplexes  D3 through to D8 from excess fill sites
  4. Installed water line to City water line
  5. Water lines have been chlorinated and flushed
  6. Pressure test is on over weekend (please don’t turn any taps on)
  7. Water is not potable at this time
  8. Installed sewer line tie-in
  9. Working on Storm Tie in to Retention / Detention Pond

 

Countdown to Registration of Subdivision for Phase I

  1. Legal survey under way
  2. Letter to Approving Officer for list of items that need to be in place for signing
  3. Easements are surveyed
  4. Registration of Easements underway
  5. Parks dedication area underway

 

Emerald Green Developments

  1. Final Construction Permit from CoC still a WSAE holdup but he is working on it
  2. Final bonding amount for 14th Avenue also an amount to be developed by WSAE
  3. BMcI of EGD called EWV May 02, 2008.
    • Ready to do agreement ASA all details are completed with CoC for Construction Permit
