Contracts

  1. Selkirk Paving Ltd
    • Letter of intent to be issued May 02, 2008.
  2. Alto Construction Ltd
    • After costs are established with 2nd Interview then total contract amount will be established
    • Contract documents all printed an ready
    • CCDC document 14 needs to be completed with costs
  3. Temporary Overhead Power
    • A Letter of Intent has been issued to Martech Electrical Systems Ltd
    • Fortis BC is evaluating their power line at Sahstrom property and suggest that a $75,000 upgrade may be necessary
    • Martech has huge Genset and cables available and will meet the budget in the end
    • More later
  4. U/G Electrical. Telus, Shaw
    • Letter of Intent issued to Maretech Electrical Systems Ltd
    • Installation to start May 05, 2008 and completed June 30, 2008
    • Telus approval had tendency to holdup but now on track

 

Ground Floor Housing

  1. Status of Financial Commitment Letters
    • GFLLs agreed to make 2nd contractual deposit May 25, 2008.
  2. ACL Construction Status
    • Work continues and 1st framing should be visible week of May 26, 2008.
  3. Some changes being priced:
    • Driveways
    • Excavation and Backfill
    • Deletion of Peremeter Drainage
    • Change crawlspace floor concrete strength from 25 Mpa to 20 Mpa
    • A 2 meter long concrete apron at garage door

Heritage Credit Union

  1. Construction Account for GFLLs is set up
  2. “Bridge Financing” confirmed and activated
  3. Application for Letter of Credit to City of Castlegar for Infrastructure Maintenance being made May 22, 2008.

  1. Will be made available for inspection by members at Meeting 4200

 

Infrastructure Construction

  1. MiL is completing various tie-ins over the bank
  2. Waiting to do gutters and sidewalks ASA U/G power is in

 

Countdown to Registration of Subdivision for Phase I

  1. Set for June 30, 2008 survey plan approval by City of Castlegar
  2. Legal registration of easements required
  3. Letter of Credit for Infrastructure Maintenance required
  4. List of requirements received from Phil Markin Approving Officer
  5. Park allocation negotiation underway

  1. Final Construction Permit from CoC still O/S
