Welcome to Grandview Heights

 

This portion of the development consists of ground level entry homes: detached bungalows and duplexes. Care has been taken to make the units suitable for the changing needs of the residents. They are wheelchair accessible, with large openings and environmentally sensitive choices.

 

Homes are 1,120 sq ft and cost approximately $252,000, (HST included). Forty-two (42) of these homes have already been built and occupied, with another available at present.

 

Key features of these homes include:

  • 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), utility / laundry room
  • Double garage
  • Covered patio and great views
  • Two floor plans, with options available
  • Membership in the cooperative and participation in decisions affecting Grandview Heights and Grandview Manor

 

These homes are available for purchase under a fee-simple ownership (although there may be a limited number of rentals available).

  • Phase I saw the completion of  the bungalows and duplexes along the edge of the bank (34 units). Our members moved into their new homes in the spring of 2009. Since moving in, the first residents have been busy putting their personal stamp around their units. The community spirit has blossomed as we busy ourselves in committees and help each other. We look forward to our third Christmas in our new homes.

 

  • Phase II is currently underway. Construction of duplexes continues on the opposite side of Grandview Drive.

Building Plans for Bungalows and  Duplexes

Two floor plans are available, both offering 1120 square feet. They feature an open floor plan of kitchen, dining and living room space, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a 2-car garage and covered patio. Options and upgrades for features such as flooring, paint and cabinetry make the units very individual.
