MINUTES OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING 4000

4001: Call to order

 

4002: Approve Agenda

4003: Approve Minutes Meeting 3900 as distributed

4004: Ground Floor Life Leases Construction Issues:

  1. Alto Construction requires full duplexes to establish construction schedule
  2. Recommendation from Groundfloor Life Lease Meeting April 04, 2008.
    • That half duplexes on West side of Grandview Drive choose
    • A half-duplex unit on the Ledge
    • Choice is by “Pecking Order” of the West side duplex members
  3. Motion to approve the above recommendation
  • There are 34 ground flour units to be built so far.  Alto has made a schedule but since 3 duplexes are unfilled, we had this special meeting to solve this problem so construction can begin immediately in a time efficient manner.
  • Alex Bojey made a motion that we permit the three unit holders on the West side of Grandview Drive,  Zaystoff, Cropley, and Fillipoff to move to the East side to fill the duplexes according to their pecking order. Seconded by John Adams.
  • Marg Nickel had a question about how will this affect the choices after construction starts. Dorothy added to the motion that this is a one time resolution applying to this situation only and John and Alex accepted the addition to the motion. Carried

 

4005: Celebration of Ground Floor Life Lease Start – Harry Jukes

  1. Note date as 1000 hours, Saturday, April 19, 2008.
  2. Request for volunteers to assist

Harry passed out sign up sheets to get helpers for the up and coming “Grandview Takes Off” celebration on April 19, 2008 at 10:000 am, and the float for the Sunfest Parade.

 

4006: Next Pick dates:

  1. April 12, 2008 at 0900 hours.
  2. April 26, 2008 at 0900 hours.
  3. Must have $40,000 Loan Agreement I in place the day before the “pick”
  4. Other:
  • Norm New asked how the sequence works at a later date and this was explained by Peter.
  • John Adams asked how many folks want an island in their kitchen and how many want instant hot water. Peter said that the contractor will be asking these questions at the interviews.
  • Terasen Gas will be on site April 8 to find the gas line so the building committee can bridge the gas line for crossing.
