  • Upon approval of drawings and deposit of security, City of Castlegar Council approves 4th Reading on Zoning and OCP and then
  • Permission from CoC to proceed with Services and Road construction

3109: Building Committee Report – Peter Dergousoff

  • Negotiations with new Contractor for Housing
A GOOD MEETING WAS HAD WITH HILLTECH AND THE CONTRACTOR SEEMS TO BE VERY KEEN ON THE PROJECT. HILL TECH IS A BONDABLE COMPANY
IT WAS NOTED THAT BEL HAS BECOME A GOOD NEIGHBOUR AND IS CONSIDERING IN BRINGING IN A CRUSHER . HE  WANTS TO KNOW IF WE ARE  INTERESTED IN UTILIZING OUR GRAVEL. A ROW OF TREES WOULD SEPARATE THE RESIDENTIAL LOTS FROM THE CRUSHER. 2 COMPANIES WILL BID ON THE GRAVEL AND PERHAPS SINCE THEY ARE AN ASPHALT COMPANY, THEY COULD DO OUR ASPHALT.
