Fred Areshenkoff read a very interesting and light hearted poem called "The Clothes line" it was enjoyed by all
5003: Approve Agenda Meeting 5000

Betty Ann moved that they be approved Ron Johnson seconded it, carried
5005: Treasurers Report
Dorothy gave her report, the year-end is not yet complete, but the GST refund has been received and all the accounts have been paid to date. She moved it be accepted Jon seconded it, carried.
5006: Project Managers Comments
Elmer presented his report:
- 16th Ave south no lights as yet Cyril will look into it.
- Subdivision Registration will be finalized soon.
- Grandview Manor now has 45 commitments.
- A business consultant is being researched to date there are five candidates.
- Nominations are coming in for Strata Council.
- Deficiency letter of Credit at HCU will be reduced by $70,000.
- Work will start on the remaining infrastructure

5010: Landscaping Committee Report – Betty Ann Mullen
Betty Ann Mullen informed us that the first meeting of the landscape committee 2009 will be held in Feb.
5011: Plan of Action Proposal to establish 100 units at Grandview Manor

5012: Grandview Manor Committee - Bev Onischak
Bev Onischak gave her report
5013: Directors issues - Jim Mullen
Jim Mullen introduced John Lebidoff who spoke on the status of the remaining 22 residential lots. The directors have decided not to renew the Real Estate Sales agreement until further notice, therefore it will be possible to lower the price. Anyone interested is to contact one of the directors.
5014: Promotions Commmittee - Harry Jukes
- Waneta Mall displays January 16 and 17, 2009
- Chaiko Mika Mall, Nelson display January 30 and 31, 2009.
- Orchard Park Mall, Kelowna, February20, 21 and 22, 2009.

Harry Jukes said the committee has been working hard and their last Mall display in Trail attracted many interested people. Hopefully some buyers. Elmer wrote a policy paper for consideration by Government(s) on "Affordable Seniors Housing" some members spent many hours editing the draught. It is now ready to be mailed to different organizations, federal and provincial government etc.
5015: Building Committee Report - Peter Dergousoff
Peter Dergousoff said that the units are progressing very well, hopefully be complete by the end of March. Three (or more) units will start in the spring. The GFLL members will have a meeting this week to elect a strata council more nominations will be taken from the floor and questions will be answered.
