We are here, at the threshold of a new beginning. We invite you to share our enthusiasm – our excitement about this new venture. We draw in energy from this spot on earth – it revitalizes us. We give forth energy, renewing hope in others, challenging ourselves to live to our highest ideals.
And this all begins with the earth – this beautiful, pure soil, upon which we will build our homes, and in which we will grow our gardens. We feel blessed by the graciousness of the Deva of this land – the overseeing Angel of this piece of earth – who understands our need to cleanse the land of its beautiful cloak of trees and plants, so that we may begin afresh with our new homes, our new gardens and our new friendships.
There is a Celtic Prayer I wish to share:
Blessings on all animals of the forest,
Our neighbours.
Blessings on all birds of the sky,
Our friends.
Blessings on the soil and the loveliness of plants,
Our joy.
And blessings on all who will live in this community,
Our kin.
