Of a seniors housing development we did hear
At that we let out a big cheer
A home all on one floor you say
Just right for people with hair turning grey.
Where is this place... let us get into the race
It's up in the clouds above Kal Tire is that what your hearts desire
Besides its best if people with alzheimers stay
in a place where they know the way.
That put us in a bit of a dither and we sat back to reconsider.
On a fine June day when sun chased grey skies away
The co-op held a ceremony to break ground, up there on the mound
So we joined the happy throng and were greeted with music and song
There were speeches and a prayer of dedication
Which filled us with elation
And the people we met made it a sure bet
That living at Grand View Heights would be filled with delights.
So in review this is what we want to tell you
We will have a NEW house with a garage and not one stair
Also a complex care center will be there
Yes all that matters but it was like-minded people with heart
That made us decide to be part of the Grand VIEW Housing co-op.
