My husband and I are both part and parcel of this marvelous experience of planning and building the Senior's Housing Cooperative, "Grandview Heights", in the beautiful Kootenay/Columbia River Valleys. What fascinates us is that we have a great group of people who come together, volunteering their time to organize, plan and learn how to bring their dreams into manifestation to meet the needs of the Senior's housing.
There is a great sense of comfort knowing that we are not alone, that, it being a cooperative, all voices and concerns are heard and resolved in a democratic way.
Changes in our "Golden Years" may be somewhat challenging, not knowing where to go. We feel by choosing to be part of this initiative we will be able to enjoy the feeling of community, plus the gratifying sense of knowing that it offers us independence with supportive, assisted living when needed.
We would invite anyone who may wish to come and share this experience with us in a place we call "Grandview Heights"
